The Optimist Club of Medicine Hat was chartered 1961. We are part of the AMS and NW District The District is made up of clubs in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Montana and Northern Wyoming.

Each club operates its own programs with club interests, resources, and community needs while keeping in mind Optimist International's general philosophy of good citizenship, Respect for Law and Order and service to youth.

The Optimist Club of Medicine Hat has had a significant impact in our community in working to meet the needs of local Youth.
